More info: I have chat issues after updating the game as well. If I completely exit the game and then return to a server, I can talk again—but only once.

This is now fixed, latest version of the Unity 2017 game engine had an Android chat bug.
When cancelling keyboard, it doesnt get the callback and thinks its still open.
- had to do a bunch of manual things to get around it

I am also experiencing the same chat bug as Tyrant. I can send an initial message, but then no more. The message I sent either is still then present in my send-box, or its gone and I cannot type anything else, as the keyboard will not be prompted to come up.
Other players are experiencing similar issues and cannot talk in chat. A few players can talk, but the majority cannot.

The update that was given out has broken the chats for others, we are unable to message anything after saying one sentence and the sentence freezes up, not letting us edit or make a new message, please take a look into this, I do not want others to suffer like this.

Check the store for an update 
I cant get the chat bug to happen to me on any of my devices, so having to guess what might cause it.
